Young People: Findings: Diet

Food Habbits: 5-a-day and breakfastBreakfast
We asked how often you ate breakfast (either at home or at a breakfast club). The graph to the right shows that boys were more likely to eat breakfast every day than girls.

Fruit and Vegetables
We also asked about how much fruit and veg you ate. Results were very similar for boys and girls as the graph shows. Approximately 27% of boys and girls said they ate 3 or more pieces of fruit a day, and about 30% said they ate three or more vegetable portions a day.
