Earlier this year DASH researchers presented our findings on racism - what does this mean for mental health?

In June 2014 DASH researchers presented findings on racism and mental health at the Health Inequalities Research Network conference in London. Racism was a common experience for participants from ethnic minorities and experiencing racism was bad for mental health. However family life and religion were important in helping participants do well despite adverse experiences. The talk is now available online as a podcast.
