Ethics

DASH is careful to protect the confidentiality of participants at all stages of the research following the ethical guidelines of the Medical Research Council

If your child was in DASH at school then you would have been asked for your consent. Now DASH participants are adults we will ask their consent directly. When participants are invited to take part in DASH we make sure they are given all the information they need and that we answer any questions. All participants are given an Information Sheet to keep and if they are happy to take part they are asked to sign a Consent Form.
